Four steps to driving innovation

There are some elements of human behavior that are critical to enabling a company to step on the road to begin their innovation journey. Changing behavior is a great start.

A willingness to challenge orthodoxy, an ability to be clear, and not being prepared to wait for anyone else are three characteristics that align perfectly with some of the practices of exemplary leadership outlined by Kouzes & Posner in The Leadership Challenge: challenging the process and inspiring a shared vision are both vital practices in guiding others along pioneering journeys.
